Which Spur needs the ball with the game on the line?

The San Antonio Spurs have what some might call a "good problem." They're stock loaded with talent, unselfish brilliance and surreal shotmakers. But with a game on the line, who should have the ball in his hands?

Here's a roundtable discussion by the San Antonio Express-News to try and figure out an answer:

Kawhi Leonard is the undisputed new go-to guy and his shot, whether inside or out, defended or left wide open, has been deadly this season. With that said, I want the ball in his prodigious hands with the game on the line. But I also have no problem if it lands in Manu Ginobili’s mitts. He’s never failed to step forward in clutch situations and his track record of producing with the game on the line is outstanding, especially from long distance.

It's a tricky question with no definite response. Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili have sunk countless buzzer-beating shots for the Spurs, and both are still more than capable of making the right play off the dribble.

Danny Green is a three-point specialist and Tim Duncan can bank it in from just about anywhere (or draw a foul).

LaMarcus Aldridge spent the past five years taking and making humongous shots for the Portland Trail Blazers, and he can't be defended one-on-one.

But the best answer here is Leonard.

Hey Kawhi, what do you think? Are you the Spurs' best option with two seconds on the clock in a tie ball game?

Case closed.
