Watch Tony Parker get teased by Thierry Henry in this new 'Beats by Dre' commercial
Tony Parker, the greatest point guard in San Antonio Spurs history, is 33 years old and coming off one of the worst seasons of his NBA career. Had he not played so poorly during last year's playoffs, San Antonio would've dispatched the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round. Then who knows how far they would've gone after that? Maybe they win a second straight championship?
But the past is the past, and after a summer of intense preparation for the 2015-16 season, Parker is (hopefully) back and ready to resume his deserved status as one of the game's most effective ball handlers.
This is the idea behind Parker's new "Beats by Dre" commercial, filmed with French soccer megastar Thierry Henry, who playfully teases him over the phone as the camera cuts to and from Parker strapping ice to his legs, inserting his feet in a freezing bucket of water and playing some pickup.
If you're a Spurs fan this video should pump you up. If Parker stays healthy, San Antonio can get to the NBA Finals for the third time in four years. He's such an important puzzle piece on a team that's loaded with unbelievable talent.
