UPDATE: Griner reportedly knew 'no key details' about wife's pregnancy

UPDATE: TMZ Sports reported that Glory Johnson-Griner's pregnancy may have been a point of contention with Brittney Griner and helped lead to Griner's decision to seek an annulment. In court documents, Griner says she doesn't know any "key details" about her wife's pregnancy. TMZ says the implication is that "they were not on the same page when it came to the pregnancy."

The Phoenix Mercury's Brittney Griner filed to annul her marriage to Glory Johnson-Griner 28 days after the two WNBA players got married.

The news, first reported by TMZ Sports, also comes one day after Johnson-Griner announced she was pregnant and was taking the year off from the Tulsa Shock on doctor's orders.

Griner had given a statement to ESPN's Kate Fagan, saying she thought it was a mistake to go through the wedding at all:

Lindsey Adler of Buzzfeed received confirmation from the Maricopa County Superior Court of the filed documents, which claimed Griner felt "pressured into marriage under duress":

After getting engaged last August, Griner and Johnson were married on May 9 outside Phoenix.

Their wedding came less than a month after Johnson and Griner were arrested on domestic violence-related charges at their Phoenix-area home. Both were suspended for seven games by the WNBA after their arrests.

Earlier today, Glory Johnson-Griner posted this on her Instagram feed.
