During Monday's group game against Poland, France's Tony Parker became the all-time leading scorer in the history of EuroBasket, surpassing Greek legend Nikos Galis.

Here's more on the milestone performance, courtesy of San Antonio Express-News' Dan McCarney:

Parker is one of the most accomplished point guards in NBA history, and universally recognized as one of the 3-5 best floor generals of his generation.

Being that he made his EuroBasket debut in 2001, it's no surprise to see him break the all-time scoring record. He can dominate in so many different ways, and has unparalleled touch around the rim for a player his size.

Parker scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half of France’s 69-66 victory to push his career EuroBasket total to 1,046. He entered Monday’s game, his 62nd in the tournament, tied with long-time record holder Nikos Galis of Greece. Galis played in just 33 games at EuroBasket, leading Greece to the 1987 championship before retiring in 1994. His scoring average of 31.2 points will likely never be broken...France was in control for most of the game before Poland, which stayed in striking distance throughout, pushed late. Having seen his team’s lead cut to three with 2:02 remaining, Parker responded with a layup and a pair of free throws to help stave off the threat. France will have a day off tomorrow before facing Russia on Wednesday in the fourth of its five group games.
