Tony Allen's hamstring may keep him out of Game 5
The Memphis Grizzlies lost Game 4 in part because of a key adjustment made by Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr: Leave Tony Allen alone.
The Warriors put Andrew Bogut on him and left the poor-shooting Allen wide open on the perimeter. It looks like that strategy may not work in Game 5, because Allen's hamstring could prevent him from seeing the floor.
Allen's offense is abysmal, but on the other end his swarming defense on Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry is undeniably valuable. He leads the playoffs with 2.7 steals per game, and the Grizzlies would be at a loss to replace his intensity if that hamstring acts up.
