Tiago Splitter didn't practice on Monday, listed out against Knicks

Published Jan. 4, 2016 1:52 p.m. ET

Atlanta's big man Tiago Splitter has not seen the floor much during his debut season with the Hawks.

According to KL Chouinard, Splitter missed Monday's practice once more with a calf strain -- he's officially out against the Knicks. He was expected out for two games in the initial report. When he misses Tuesday's game against the Knicks, however, it will be four consecutive games without Splitter.

Splitter has missed 12 of 35 games during the 2015-16 season. He is expected back by the end of the week.

Splitter averages just 5.6 points per game (his lowest since his rookie season in 2010-11) this season. He's also recorded a career-worst 3.3 rebounds per games and his lowest block total (0.4 per game) since his rookie season as well.
