The Wizards are in a very bad place

The Washington Wizards are not good. Injuries are mounting, but that's no excuse for the poor effort and low energy levels the team still exudes on a nightly basis.
They get blown out regularly and have yet to grasp an offensive system that was supposed to unlock the tantalizing talent in their backcourt.
Instead, they may miss the playoffs, which would be a complete and total disaster.
Here's more on the situation from The Washington Post's Tim Bontemps:
The Wizards can still turn things around if everyone gets healthy and starts playing to the best of their ability, but it seems so unlikely.
This feels like a lost season at the very worst possible time, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
What’s possibly even more alarming than the comments about a lack of energy and effort – things everyone involved acknowledged should be there on a daily basis – were comments from both Wall and Jared Dudley that the Wizards are unable follow the game plan. “I think at times we don’t stick to the game plan, and it hurts, because when you’re down, you have to play better and execute things,” Wall said. “That’s one thing we don’t do: We don’t execute well with our game plans offensively and defensively, and that’s what puts us in binds.”
