The Bucks and Magic could not stop throwing down dunks
Look, we don't blame you if you weren't exactly glued to your favorite broadcast-capable device as the Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Orlando Magic on Friday night. Neither team is going to make the playoffs, so you'd have to be a pretty big NBA diehard to tune in with the season winding down.
If, however, you took the plunge, these two young teams rewarded you for your confidence with a back-and-forth contest that had dunk after dunk after dunk.
The more cynical among you might call this bad defense, and that's your prerogative. But we'd rather enjoy watching Magic rookie Mario Hezonja get tricky at the rim:
Then there's Aaron Gordon making the act of throwing down a two-handed alley-oop look routine:
Buck Bucks forward Jabari Parker was the real star of the show. First, he had to get in on that lob-based slam action:
And he had the dunk of the night with a ridiculous jam on which he was still going up as he destroyed the rim:
Only Gordon's presence stopped Parker from flushing a beautiful finish after a nice dime from Giannis Antetokounmpo:
Even trying to blind the young Buck didn't work:
It just didn't stop. Miles Plumlee got in on the act:
Bless the Greek Freak, because he tried to play show that the future of the NBA includes defense, too:
And it paid off, as the Bucks held on in the final minute for a 113-110 win.
