Steve Nash announces engagement to ex-Pepperdine volleyball player

Steve Nash just put a ring on it. 

The former NBA star and sometime Temecula visitor happily announced his engagement on his Instagram account Friday.

For the Win reports the lucky lady is Lilla Frederick, a 25-year-old former Pepperdine and junior women's U.S. team volleyball player who once called Nash's former employer the Los Angeles Lakers her favorite sports team. 

From the two-time NBA MVP's Instagram account, it appears the couple had been vacationing in Europe when Nash popped the big question. 

The 42-year-old Nash has three children from a previous marriage.
