'Skies out, thighs out'; Spurs guard wants to bring back short shorts

San Antonio Spurs point guard Patty Mills wants to bring back a stylish trend that hit its peak before he was born: short shorts.

Is this a good idea? Maybe. Is it hilarious? Yes. Very, very hilarious:

Mills is averaging 8.0 points and a career-high 2.5 assists per game as Tony Parker's back up. He's knocking down 38 percent of his threes (up from 34.1 percent a year ago). So, normal-length shorts have not hindered Mills' performance. The only question is, can shorter shorts make him better?

Knowing the Spurs, it's probable they've already studied how wardrobe changes of any kind will effect their team's winning percentage. They're really smart.
