Report: Pelicans re-sign 3-point shooter Luke Babbitt

When it comes to his offense, New Orleans Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry loves tall guys who can space the floor and shoot from deep. So it should come as no surprise that the Pelicans have reportedly re-signed Luke Babbitt to a two-year deal, according to ESPN.com's Marc Stein:

Babbitt is a career 40.3 percent shooter on 3-pointers, and he shot a career-best 51.3 percent on 115 3-point attempts in 2014-15. Under Gentry, Babbitt could see a slight increase in playing time from the 13.2 minutes per game he averaged last season.
