Reigning NBA dunk champ shows off what a 44-inch vertical looks like

He's the reigning slam dunk champion and put his amazing leaping ability on display during that dunk contest.

But to really put into perspective the leaping ability of Minnesota Timberwolves swingman Zach LaVine, check this out.

Many of LaVine's opponents got an up-close look at his hops during his rookie season.

And his slam dunk contest performance reinvigorated the NBA's marquee event during its All-Star weekend.
