Nuggets' Faried leaves game with sprained right ankle

ATLANTA (AP) Kenneth Faried has left the Denver Nuggets' game against the Atlanta Hawks with a sprained right ankle and will not return.

The Nuggets say X-rays were negative.

Faried was hurt with about 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter Wednesday night. He needed assistance leaving the court.

Faried returned to the starting lineup after missing one game due to a death in his family.
