Knicks have their options with the fourth pick
Stop freaking out, Knicks fans. Everything is going to be OK.
Yes, the Knicks should have had a higher draft pick. Should. And yes, the Knicks were the only team in the lottery to fall to a lower selection, but that doesn't mean New York's future is all-of-a-sudden ruined.
The Knicks have their choices at fourth, as explained by general manager Steve Mills. Here's what Mills had to say at Knicks.com:
Mills obviously has to have a positive spin on the Knicks, but he's not wrong. The Knicks do have plenty of options at No. 4, whether that's drafting Emmanuel Mudiay or D'Angelo Russell or Willie Cauley-Stein or even trading the pick.
If the Knicks are doomed down the line, it's because of other reasons. Not because they fell to fourth in the draft. If they make a good pick here, they could still impact their future majorly.

“We feel really good about this pick,” Knicks general manager Steve Mills reacted following the Lottery. “We felt that in this draft we could have gotten a good player with any pick one through five. We went into this very optimistic and we will remain that way.”
He added, “We still have exceptions that we can use between now until the Draft. We’re talking to teams about a lot of different things, so we’re open to looking at different opportunities to continue to improve our team.”
