Kevin Love reveals the LeBron James NBA Finals memory he'll never forget

Published Jun. 20, 2016 12:50 p.m. ET

Kevin Love was an easy target during the 2016 NBA Finals.

He suffered a concussion in Game 2 that kept him out of Game 3 before playing 25 minutes in Game 4 and scoring 11 points. In Game 5, with the Cavs on the road trailing 3-1, Love recorded two points and three rebounds in 33 minutes and was verbally undressed by LeBron James.

It got so low that even Cavaliers fans were taunting Love before Game 6 in Cleveland.

But we can forget about all of that now. Love showed up in Game 7 on Sunday night and notched nine points and 14 rebounds to help the Cavaliers win their first NBA title in franchise history.

After the game, he shared what it meant to win a championship with these Cavs and the memory he'll have of LeBron's NBA Finals performance when he's old.
