Jeff Teague, sprained left ankle, is probable against the Hornets

Published Jan. 11, 2016 11:23 p.m. ET

Atlanta's point guard Jeff Teague exited the game with an ankle injury against the Bulls, but returned later in the game.

Teague said on Monday that he sprained his ankle stepping on a foot during the game. He added that he had suffered the injury before, has rehab "down pat" and already feels better. According to RotoWorld, Teague is considered "probable" for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.

The point guard has missed just three games for Atlanta this season. Back in early December, Teague also suffered from ankle-related injury issues.

He averages 15.2 points, 5.6 assists and 1.3 steals during 29.0 minutes per game this season.
