It all happened in the slickest way possible: 20 minutes of action, seven field goal attempts and a tight collection of highlight-forging dunks:
Do you want more angles? We have plenty of options, because Simmons was kind enough to supply them. Look at what he does to Milwaukee Bucks guard Khris Middleton, one of the better perimeter defenders in the NBA:
There's no bothering to contest Simmons whenever he stampedes to the rim; getting in his way his highly discouraged by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services:
Beyond this one dude's breakout party, what does it say about the Spurs when the last man off their bench rises up out of nowhere to obliterate everything in his path? Simmons was inactive for nine of San Antonio's first 10 games, but has steadily crawled his way into the frame, averaging 6.6 points and 13.8 minutes per game in each of the team's last 15 contests.
Simmons is shooting over 50 percent from the floor since Gregg Popovich granted him a little stability, and where he goes from here is anybody's guess. But, being that it's the Spurs, nothing should surprise you.
