Gerald Wallace's role on last year's Celtics is finally revealed
Gerald Wallace made a lot of money to sit on the bench last season. Before he was traded to the Golden State Warriors for David Lee, the 32-year-old, 14-year veteran rarely influenced games for the Boston Celtics by making shots or grabbing rebounds.
Instead, he acted as a leader in the locker room, and essentially served as an extra coach on the sideline. At least that was Evan Turner's main takeaway.
The Warriors have not waived Wallace yet, but it's only a matter of time before they do.
The former All-Star may have already played his last game in the NBA, but it's good to see him stay involved anyway he could last year, even though he wasn't getting the playing time he wanted.
