Chandler Parsons may no longer be on a minutes restriction

Published Dec. 29, 2015 12:45 p.m. ET

Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons hasn't been at full strength this year.

Parsons is recovering from offseason knee surgery, and Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle has limited his playing time early on this season.

Those playing time restrictions may be coming to an end soon, however. Parsons is currently averaging 23.6 minutes a game, but that number could be going up soon.

Here's more from Earl Sneed of Mavs.com:

Last season, when he was healthy, Parsons played 33 minutes a night. It certainly seems possible that Parsons will be spending more time on the floor as the season progresses.
