Chandler Parsons is frustrated with his playing time
Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons is clearly frustrated with how this season has started.
Parsons is still recovering from knee surgery this offseason, and Rick Carlisle and the Mavericks training staff are limiting his time on the court.
That's definitely been a source of frustration for Parsons, who is only playing 14.4 minutes a game and has appeared in five contests this season.
Here's more from Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News:
"The look on Chandler Parsons' face said it all.
And what couldn't be learned by looking at his "getting tired of this stuff" expression was made clearer by his words.
"It's miserable. It's awful," he said. "I've never done it. I've never played this little. It's very frustrating and it's hard to get in any kind of rhythm. But it's a process and I got to gradually take the steps. I can't just dive right in to playing 30-plus minutes.
"It's different for me. It's definitely not fun, but we knew it wasn't going to be easy and we knew I was going to be rusty. Hopefully, I'll gradually play more and more and start playing more like I know I can." "
