Andre Drummond says he's 'tired of losing'

Few people know it, but Andre Drummond is one of the best young big men in the game. The Detroit Pistons center, under coach Stan Van Gundy, has every chance to follow in the rim-protection footsteps of Dwight Howard.

The next phase of his evolution is becoming a leader. Drummond seems to be taking that challenge head-on this offseason, according to a recent report. "I just have the mind-set right now that I don't think has been there before," Drummond said a recent Detroit art event, according to Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press. "I told myself this is a big summer for me. Obviously, everybody knows it's my contract year, but it's not even because of that.

"I'm just so tired of losing that it comes down to me and what I'm doing on the floor and that if I'm not in the best condition, the best playing shape, I can't do nothing for my team."

We eagerly await Drummond bringing that energy to the floor in 2015-16.
