Watch as Tony Stewart gets loose, wrecks teammate Danica Patrick

It's a team owner's worst nightmare: Two team cars wrecking each other. And it's even worse when the one causing the crash is not only a team driver, but the co-owner as well.

But that's what happened in Monday's Axalta We Paint Winners 400 at Pocono Raceway.

On a Lap 93 restart, Stewart-Haas Racing driver/co-owner Tony Stewart got loose at the exit of Turn 1. And when he got loose, Stewart tagged the wall, collecting teammate Danica Patrick with him.

It was just a racing incident, but it was especially unfortunate for Stewart, who had been fast all weekend and is trying to work his way back into the top 30 in points and become eligible for the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

After running strong all race long, this definitely was a setback for the three-time champion in his final season.

Stewart finished the race in 34th place, two positions ahead of Patrick. At least they had a consolation prize and a pretty good one at that: SHR’s Kurt Busch scored his first victory of the season on Sunday, winning ahead of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Brad Keselowski.
