J.J. Yeley ran the most laps of the session, 21, but was 32nd-fastest on the speed charts.

Among those searching for speed during Friday's lone practice were Tony Stewart (22nd), Paul Menard (23rd), Danica Patrick (24th), Greg Biffle (27th) and Kasey Kahne (35th).

The Sprint Cup Series have two more practice sessions on Saturday, with group qualifying scheduled for 4:45 p.m. ET on Friday.
