Watch out, a new kind of speed will be showcased at Homestead-Miami Speedway this year.

Ford has announced it will pace the field for the Nov. 18-20 NASCAR championship weekend with Police Interceptors.

Ford specifically designed and engineered the all-new Interceptors to handle the rigors of police work, but they vehicles will first be seen at the start of the NASCAR Camping World, Nationwide and Sprint Cup races.

The Ford Police Interceptor Utility that will pace the field is capable of a top speed of 148 mph.
