NASCAR community elated about Chicago Cubs making World Series
The world witnessed history Saturday night when the Chicago Cubs defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-0 at Wrigley Field to punch their ticket into the World Series.
The last time the Cubs won the National League pennant? 1945.
The last time the Cubs won a World Series? 1908.
Now, the Cubs are set to face off against the Cleveland Indians in Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday night at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio (8 p.m. ET, FOX).
Folks in the NASCAR community joined other loyal Cubs fans who’ve been waiting for what has felt like an eternity for this moment.
