John Roberts

John Roberts hosts NASCAR RACEDAY and NASCAR VICTORY LANE for FOX Sports 1, the network's pre- and post-race shows for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. He also hosts NASCAR LIVE, offering up-to-the-minute updates throughout race weekends.

Roberts is in his 14th season with the FOX family, a tenure that began when he was tabbed to host NASCAR THIS MORNING, NASCAR RACEDAY's predecessor on FOX Sports Net, in 2001. Roberts also hosts special NASCAR programming on FOX Sports 1, such as Daytona preseason testing. He also has served as play-by-play announcer for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series practice and qualifying sessions on FOX Sports 1.

The Washington, D.C. native co-authored The Great Book of NASCAR Lists, released in 2012. Born Oct. 2, 1965, he graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Communications. Roberts has three children -- Jordan, Willie and Lauren -- and resides in Cornelius, N.C.
