Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Joe Gibbs Racing driver Matt Tifft, who today is undergoing surgery to remove of a low-grade glioma in the brain.

Tifft, 20, is expected to return to racing once he completes rehabilitation and receives medical clearance.

Tifft at least appeared to have a good sense of humor about the surgery, and on Friday night, an encouraging update was posted to Tifft’s Twitter account.
