Kansas City Royals left-hander Danny Duffy has been diagnosed with rotator cuff inflammation and will miss at least one start, The Kansas City Star reports.
Duffy exited Saturday's loss to the Yankees after throwing only one pitch.
According to The Kansas City Star, an MRI exam revealed no structural damage and Duffy will be reevaluated in three to four days.

Duffy has been a key contributor to the AL Central-leading Royals' rotation. His 2.42 ERA would rank third among all AL starters if he had enough innings to qualify.
In 29 games (23 starts) this season, Duffy is 8-11 with 108 strikeouts in 141 1/3 innings.
