Rockies wear patches in memory of McGregor

Published Apr. 21, 2010 10:45 p.m. ET

The Colorado Rockies are wearing black patches on their uniform sleeves in memory of team president Keli McGregor.

The round patches the Rockies are wearing Wednesday night during their game at the Washington Nationals have McGregor's initials, KSM, stitched in white on a black background.

Manager Jim Tracy has the patch on his black Rockies jacket.

The team will wear the patches for the rest of this season.

The Rockies said the 48-year-old McGregor was on a business trip when he was found dead in his hotel room in Salt Lake City on Tuesday.
