Detroit Tigers left fielder Johnny Damon has left the game at Minnesota because of a spasm in his right calf muscle.

Damon went 0 for 2 and left after the fourth inning on Wednesday against the Twins, replaced by Ryan Raburn. The team said his status is day to day.

Damon entered the game batting .314 with 21 runs and 14 RBIs in his first season for the Tigers. He has started 27 of their 29 games.
