The Elite 11 finals will be held next week, July 5-10, during Nike's The Opening camp, which features many of the top prospects in the nation coming together at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.Ā

The camp also invites top college performers from around the nation to help mentor and instruct the next generation of college talent.Ā

Of the 18 high school quarterbacks represented in the Elite 11 finalists and eight college quarterbacks set to attend The Opening, only Tennessee will be sending one of each to Beaverton, as Joshua Dobbs has been announced as a counselor.Ā

Dobbs will have the unique experience of helping coach up the quarterback that may replace him one day for the Big Orange in Jarrett Guarantano ofĀ Bergen Catholic, New Jersey.Ā

Dobbs himself was a member of the Elite 11 finalists in 2013 and appears poised to become the quarterback that returns Tennessee to SEC prominence. If things go according to plan for Tennessee, Guarantano could one day return to the Elite 11 finals to teach his eventual replacement in Knoxville.Ā
