Miles 'would be surprised if [Mills] didn't play' on Saturday

After sitting out the first five games of the season, senior defensive back Jalen Mills is slated to return for LSU.

It's a considerable boost for an already talented Tigers' secondary. Prior to the year starting, Mills was projected as the leader of the group. He had more career starts than any other player on LSU's defense, and has started every single game of his career.

A fractured fibula in August prevented Mills from beginning the season. However, a quick recovery has the Texas native ready to produce for head coach Les Miles. Not only is he a physically-talented player, but Mills provides experience and leadership to a group featuring multiple underclassmen.
