Liberty undefeated in Big South, beats Presbyterian 16-0

CLINTON, S.C. (AP) Carrington Mosley ran for 137 yards, Todd Macon added 100 yards rushing and Liberty remains undefeated in the Big South Conference with a 16-0 victory over Presbyterian on Saturday.

The Flames (6-3, 4-0) have won three straight while Presbyterian (2-7, 1-3) has scored only 20 points during its three-game losing skid.

Macon scored on an 8-yard run to cap a 45-yard drive in the first quarter. Mosley's 55-yard run help set up Alex Probert's 22-yard field goal to make it 9-0. The Flames forced two fumbles and Presbyterian's Brett Norton had a 20-yard field goal attempt blocked in the first half.

Dexter Robbins intercepted Presbyterian quarterback Ben Cheek at the Blue Hose 34-yard line late in the third quarter. The Flames scored seven plays later when Frankie Hickson bullied in from the 1-yard line.

Cheek threw his second interception to Kyle Goddard on the Blue Hose ensuing series.
