Four-star running back Elijah Holyfield, son of legendary boxer Evander Holyfield, announced his commitment to Georgia on Friday -- and he did it in style.

The 5-foot-10, 205-pound Holyfield, whose other finalists were Auburn, Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee, held a press conference at his College Park high school, Woodward Academy, using two bulldog puppies to announce his selection.

What better way to join the Bulldogs than by, well, bringing along some bulldogs?

According to Scout.com's rankings, Holyfield is Georgia's No. 1 running back recruit in the 2016 class (No. 13 in the country) and the 197th-ranked prospect overall.

Holyfield, a powerful runner, emerged as a national recruit in 2014, when he ran for more than 1,700 yards and scored 28 touchdowns.

Evander Holyfield is a longtime Georgia fan. He told The Associated Press last year he didn't want to influence his son's decision.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
