BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) Officials at the University of California, Berkeley, are reviewing whether the men's head basketball coach correctly handled sexual harassment allegations against one of his assistants.

Athletic Director Mike Williams said in a statement that the review aims ''to dispel any doubts'' about coach Cuonzo Martin's role in the case that led to the firing of assistant coach Yann Hufnagel.

Under campus policy, supervisors are required to promptly forward any sexual misconduct complaints they receive to the office that investigates such allegations.

A university report shows the allegations against Hufnagel were referred to investigators six weeks after a female journalist said she first told Martin she'd been sexually harassed.

University spokesman Dan Mogulof says Martin is traveling to a NCAA Tournament game Wednesday and wouldn't be available to comment.
