Kentucky sophomore point guard Tyler Ulis, a National Player of the Year candidate, had a career game against South Carolina on Saturday afternoon.

In a game where Kentucky head coach John Calipari was ejected before the first media timeout, Ulis took control, scoring a career-high 27 points and dishing 12 assists (only one turnover) in an 89-62 win.

The Wildcats opened up a 20-point lead early in the second half when Ulis set up Marcus Lee for an off-the-backboard slam.
