Impact Head coach Mark Pope said that Lowe's absence against Bellarmine was more for rest purposes, offering the guard a few extra days to heal from a nagging shoulder injury. Pope followed up by saying he expects Lowe to play in every game, which means maintenance days won't be a regular occurrence for the talented point guard. Lowe is averaging 7.0 points, 3.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds across 18.2 minutes per game this season.

Kam Williams - Knocks down eight treys Williams posted a career-high 26 points (8-10 FG, 8-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one steal across 22 minutes during Tuesday's 99-85 victory over Bellarmine.

Impact The native of Lafayette, LA had his best shooting game of the season and had hit just 23.7 percent of his 3-pointers coming into Tuesday's game. His previous high was 24 points, set last year when he was on Tulane against UAB in the last game of the regular season. Williams is now hitting 35.4 percent of his 3-pointers on his way to 6.8 points.

Mouhamed Dioubate - Puts up 20 points Dioubate notched 20 points (9-11 FG, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, three blocks and two steals over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 99-85 win over Bellarmine.

Impact Dioubate tied his season high set on Nov. 14 in the win over Eastern Illinois. He had averaged 10.0 points in his three previous games coming into Tuesday. The 6-7 junior has converted just 2-of-13 (15.4 percent). He concentrated on scoring near the basket and that may suit him best going forward. Dioubate faces Alabama, for whom he played the last two seasons, in the SEC opener on Saturday, Jan. 3.

Otega Oweh - Doles out 10 assists Oweh racked up 10 points (2-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-8 FT), eight rebounds, a career-high 10 assists and two steals over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 99-85 win over Bellarmine.

Impact For the third straight games, Oweh struggled from the field. He has hit just 10-of-32 (31.3 percent) of his field goals and just 1-of-7 (14.3 percent) on 3-pointers. He was able to set up his teammates against Bellarmine and had a near triple-double. For the Wildcats to be competitive in SEC play, which begins on Saturday, Jan. 3 against Alabama, Oweh will need to be more productive offensively. The senior guard averaged 10.3 points in three losses to the Tide last season.

Impact Quaintance played in two short stints in the first half and showed energy. He played the majority of the second half as the Wildcats more than doubled their point total from the first half. His offense looked rusty, but he was active on the offensive boards (five) and on the defensive end. The Arizona State transfer looks like he will be a spark for the Wildcats after missing 10 games.

The senior has improved his free throw percentage in each of his four years in college and is converting 81.5 percent of his freebies. The guard has scored 20 points or more in two of his last three games.

Impact Lowe left the game in the first half with a shoulder injury, but returned in the second half to organize the offense and penetrate the Red Storm defense. Kentucky was held to 25 points in the first half without Lowe, then doubled that total. It was apparent that the Wildcats needed a point guard and the shoulder injury was not as serious as it first appeared. The Pitt transfer should join the starting lineup as long as his health holds up.
