St. Francis (Pa.) beats CCSU 91-82 behind Millaud-Meunier

LORETTO, Pa. (AP) Ben Millaud-Meunier scored 27 points with a career-high-tying eight 3-pointers and St. Francis (Pa.) beat Central Connecticut 91-82 on Saturday to win their third straight.

Ronnie Drinnon scored 23 points and grabbed 20 rebounds, both career highs, and made five assists. The Red Flash (12-11, 8-4 Northeast Conference) made 10 of 25 from beyond the arc and led 48-32 at halftime.

CCSU gained on a 7-0 run and pulled to within 65-59 on Jahlil Nails' layup with 8:14 to play in the second half, but Millaud-Meunier hit a 3 amid a 12-2 run and St. Francis pulled away 77-61. Drinnon scored four of St. Francis' eight points in the final 1:01.

Basil Thompson added 10 points and Josh Nebo had a career-high five blocks for the Red Flash.

Nails scored 18 points off the bench for the Blue Devils (3-10, 2-10). Brandon Peel added 17 with 11 rebounds and Mustafa Jones had 13.
