South Dakota State starts fast, beats Oral Roberts 86-74

TULSA, Okla. (AP) George Marshall made four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points as South Dakota State jumped out to an early lead and beat Oral Roberts 86-74 on Thursday night.

South Dakota State (15-5, 4-2 Summit League) was up 33-25 at the break and pushed that to a 63-48 advantage midway of the second half. Oral Roberts closed to 70-58 with 7:01 left, but the Jackrabbits, who never trailed, extended their lead to 82-62 with 2:35 remaining.

Mike Daum was 6 of 11 from the floor for 15 points, and Keaton Moffitt added 11 for the Jackrabbits who shot 52 percent from the field, and made 7 of 16 from long range.

Obi Emegano led Oral Roberts (11-10, 3-4) with 20 points. Kris Martin added 17 and Javan White chipped in 16 and grabbed seven rebounds.
