Report: Duke barring NBA teams from practices this season
Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski is barring NBA teams from scouting his team's practices this season, reports The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The exception will be two days next month, Oct. 19 and 25, where his program will conduct pro days at Cameron Indoor Stadium. All other practices this season will be closed. Oct. 25 is the start of the NBA's regular season.
Scouts and league executives will still be able to scout any college games to evaluate talent.
According to the report, the practice on Oct. 19 will involve skills and drill work, while the final portion of the pro day will be a scrimmage with game officials.
Duke has at least three players on the roster that are considered potential first-round selections in next year's draft - freshmen forwards, Jason Tatum and Harry Giles and junior shooting guard Grayson Allen.
