ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Mikey Dixon had 21 points and seven rebounds, Chaise Daniels made a go-ahead shot with 24 seconds left and Quinnipiac beat Indiana State 80-77 on Sunday for seventh place in the Advocare Invitational.

It was the first win of the season for Quinnipiac after four straight losses.

Matt Van Scyoc hit a contested 3-pointer with 1:22 left to pull Indiana State to 76-74. After Quinnipiac missed a runner in the lane, Brenton Scott made a 3 in transition for a 77-76 lead - Indiana State's first since 51-49.

Quinnipiac set up an isolation play for Daniels during a timeout and he finished in the lane for a 78-77 lead. Scott drove the lane and found an open shooter at the wing but Donovan Franklin's 3-pointer was short.
