Que Johnson decides to leave Washington St basketball team

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) Junior Que Johnson is leaving the Washington State basketball program.

Johnson has been granted his release, head coach Ernie Kent said Tuesday.

A native of Pontiac, Michigan, Johnson averaged 9 points per game over his three-year career. He started 42 of the 93 games in which he played.

Johnson shot .404 percent from 3-point range this season, ranking 11th in the Pac-12. He ranks 16th in WSU's career record books with 121 made 3-pointers.
