Ohio beats Buffalo 103-96 in OT

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) Jaaron Simmons had 31 points and eight assists and Jordan Dartis hit a pair of crucial 3-pointers on Saturday to help Ohio beat Buffalo 103-96 in overtime.
Ohio (19-9, 10-6) moved a game ahead of Buffalo (16-13, 9-7) in the Mid-American Conference East Division standings after both teams entered the game tied for second place. Ohio trails Akron (11-5) by one game for first place.
Dartis made both of his late 3-pointers from the same spot in the right corner - the first capped the scoring in regulation at 85-all and the second gave the Bobcats the lead for good at 96-93 with 1:31 left in overtime.
Gavin Block made 5 of 8 free throws in the final 14 seconds of overtime to seal it for Ohio. Treg Setty added 24 points and Kenny Kaminski 22.
Willie Conner had 28 points and Blake Hamilton scored 24 for Buffalo.
