POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) Matt Scott scored a career-high 32 points and Karonn Davis sank the winning 3-pointer to lift Niagara to a 69-66 win over Marist on Thursday night.
Trailing 62-54, Niagara (6-16, 4-7 Metro Atlantic) overtook Marist during a late 12-0 run that included a jumper, a free throw and a 3-pointer from Scott to make it 66-62 with 1:50 left. Marist got two quick buckets, a layup from Isaiah Lamb and Brian Parker's jumper, to tie it at 66 before Davis hit the 3-pointer at the other end to win it.
Scott, who scored 31 points in Tuesday's loss to Siena, also hauled in 13 rebounds. Dominic Robb and Emile Blackman added 10 points apiece for Niagara, which controlled the glass 37-28.
Marist (4-15, 1-9) led 40-29 at the break but went cold in the second half.
Khallid Hart led the Red Foxes with 17 points and Lamb finished with 15.
