Jacksonville beats Stetson 75-60 for 10th straight home win
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Marcel White had 15 points and 12 rebounds and Jacksonville beat Stetson 75-60 on Saturday night.
J.R. Holder, with four 3-pointers, added 15 points with Kori Babineaux scoring 14, Darien Fernandez 12 and Josh Adeyeye 11. Jacksonville outrebounded Stetson 52-44.
Jacksonville (13-11, 5-2 Atlantic Sun) has won three straight, five of its last six and is 10-0 at home this season. The last time the Dolphins won 10 consecutive home games came December 2001-January 2002 with 11 straight.
Trailing 33-26 at halftime, Stetson (8-15, 2-5) scored six straight points to tie for the only time in the second half. White's 3-pointer put Jacksonville up 48-36 with 14:41 left and the Dolphins would lead by double figures the rest of the way, going up by as many as 17.
Divine Myles scored 17 points to lead Stetson. Derick Newton had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Brian Pegg 10 and 10.
