Chartouny's career day leads Fordham past Davidson 91-82

NEW YORK (AP) Joseph Chartouny had 24 points and 13 assists, both career highs, and all five starters scored in double figures as Fordham defeated Davidson 91-82 on Saturday.

Ryan Rhoomes added 18 points and 12 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season and Chris Sengfelder had four 3-pointers and 17 points for the Rams (15-12, 6-10 Atlantic 10).

Fordham led 35-24 at the break and used a Sengfelder 3, followed by two from David Pekarek to push a six-point lead to 74-59 with five minutes left.

The Rams made 5 of 11 3-pointers in the second half and shot 67 percent (16 of 24) overall. They also made 19 of 24 free throws with Chartouny perfect on nine attempts, eight down the stretch when the Rams made 10 straight.

Jack Gibbs had 21 points and Brian Sullivan 20 for the Wildcats (17-10, 9-7). Peyton Aldridge added 17.
