One of the most entertaining July 4th events is back, both Kalshi and Polymarket are getting in on the excitement. The Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest is available on both platforms, giving users a way to trade on one of the biggest Fourth of July traditions.

Users choose markets such as whether Joey Chestnut or the field will win, over/under totals for hot dogs eaten, whether Chestnut will challenge or break his own world record of 76 hot dogs, and other contest-related outcomes.

Chestnut returns to Coney Island looking for his 18th Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest title. He has dominated the event for nearly two decades and enters this year's competition as an overwhelming -2000 favorite in the men's division.

The contest begins at 11 AM ET on Saturday. Both Kalshi and Polymarket offer new user promos to get involved in the national tradition.
