That combined with caution is holding Gerhardt out, Gerhardt should be available for an Oct. 20 clash with Salzburg, though he has recently fallen out of favor.

Impact Brooks was originally selected by national team manager Gregg Berhalter to rejoin the USMNT this week, but he has been forced to pull out with this injury and stay in Germany to recover. Wolfsburg next plays Union Berlin on Oct. 16.
