Impact Coleman was back in the starting XI and back going the full 90. The defender will likely see some rotation in cup competitions while competing for Premier League starts. When fit Coleman has gone unused more often than not, though some of that is almost certainly load management for these recurring issues.
JANUARY 4, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
On bench to face City Coleman (groin) is on the bench for Wednesday's match against Manchester City.
Impact Coleman is back on the team sheet after a three-match spell on the sidelines due to a groin issue, returning to the bench against the Cityzens. The defender has only been available three times this season, starting in one of those appearances, so it is difficult to say how much time the defender will earn now that he is healthy. He most likely will remain as a rotational player, getting starts here and there but mainly serving as a bench option for the Toffees.
DECEMBER 27, 2023 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Coleman will be a late addition if available on Saturday, as he still needs a couple more days of training before they truly know where the player is in his recovery. The defender will hope to return for the Tottenham match, only being available once all of this campaign. If he is given the nod into the team sheet Saturday, most likely expect him to return to the bench, as he probably won't start with his fitness not being confirmed at the moment.
DECEMBER 21, 2023 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Coleman will miss his second match in a row with a groin injury. He is still struggling to keep fit after returning from a long term knee injury, making just one appearance thus far. Nathan Patterson will remain at right back for Everton.

Impact Coleman has been out for a significant period of time and is in doubt for Sunday's clash. After so many weeks on the sideline it was more likely than not that Coleman would be limited for Sunday's trip to Chelsea either way. Nathan Patterson could be in line for more minutes for Sunday's match.
DECEMBER 8, 2023 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Coleman went the full 90 with the U21 team and is now ready to return to the first team. It's a heavy doubt he will be summoned straight back into the starting XI, and it's even possible he's lost his spot in the starting XI moving forward. Still the club captain is a huge boon as Everton look to manage a 10-point penalty from the Premier League.
NOVEMBER 24, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Still with youth side Coleman (knee) started during Wednesday's Premier League International Cup clash with Athletic Club.
Impact Coleman continues to work on building his fitness with the Everton U21 side. The defender is making his way back from a serious injury so he clearly isn't being rushed back to first team minutes. This is Coleman's third appearance with the Everton U21 team.

Starts for U21 side Coleman (knee) started for Everton's U21 side against Mansfield Town on Tuesday, playing 66 minutes before coming off.
Impact Coleman continues to work his way back from a long-term knee problem, making just his second appearance with the youth setup since 2011/12. The veteran right-back has yet to get on the pitch for the senior team this season but appears to be trending in the right direction. With the international break around the corner, Coleman could be ready for the squad versus Manchester United on Nov. 26.
NOVEMBER 7, 2023 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Coleman is inching closer to a return to the senior team after missing the first two months with a knee injury. If all goes well after playing for the U21 side, the midfielder could make his season debut before the end of November. He had started 20 of the 23 games played last campaign, totaling a goal while averaging less than two tackles per contest.
NOVEMBER 2, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
In full training Coleman (knee) is back in full team training but isn't ready for Sunday's trip to West Ham, according to manager Sean Dyche.
Impact Coleman's recovery is coming along well and the fact he's in full team training could indicate a return is coming sooner rather than later. The soonest Coleman could return should be before the November international break, a great sign since his original target was reportedly in December.
OCTOBER 27, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Back on grass Coleman (knee) returned to the grass and will hope to ramp up training in the next month, according to manager Sean Dyche.
Impact Coleman probably still has another month to go, as he's only just back on grass and will likely be limited to individual work for the next couple weeks. From there, he'll need to get back his fitness in full training and given his time away, that will take another couple weeks. And while that happens, the hope is that his knee feels fine and that there are no setbacks in his recovery.

OCTOBER 5, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Still not training with group Coleman (knee) is on the grass but not training with the group, according to manager Sean Dyche.
Impact Coleman is edging closer to a return to training, but he's likely another couple weeks away from a full return. He likely won't be ready until after the next international break, as once he's back in training, he'll need a couple weeks to get back his match fitness having been out since May's knee surgery.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2023 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Coleman likely has another month on the sideline, as he's been training in limited sessions for about the past month. Impact Colman's injury turned out worse than expected, ruling him out for the next few weeks with the knee injury. He has already missed three months of action and is set to miss another one while he continues to recover. This also rules him out of the upcoming Euro qualifiers with Ireland in September. Nathan Patterson will likely remain at right back and could keep that starting spot, depending on his fitness once he returns to action.
AUGUST 24, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Sill out Coleman (knee) will not be an option for Sunday's match against Aston Villa.
Impact Coleman is still not fit to return to the pitch and will remain on the sidelines with a knee injury. Nathan Patterson has emerged as the new favorite for the right back position, dropping the defender in the depth chart for the time being.

Impact Coleman is on track in his recovery but has yet to rejoin first-team training, primarily getting work off the pitch. The right-back is expected to be ready for the upcoming season, though he will face a challenge for the starting job from youngster Nathan Patterson (hamstring).
