Out with hamstring injury Coleman (hamstring) will not be an option for Saturday's trip to West Ham.
Impact Coleman's injury struggles continues as he is set to miss yet another match, this time with a hamstring injury. He was an unused sub the last three games since returning from a calf injury, only appearing once this campaign.

Set to return as expected Coleman (calf) is an option for Saturday's match against Ipswich Town, acceding to manager Sean Dyche. "Seamus is back in the group and he's had more or less the week [of training...
Impact Coleman was expected to return after the break and that appears to be taking place, with the defender training this past week. He has only appeared once due to his issues this season, so this is good news for the club. He started in that one appearance, so he will hope to earn the start Saturday, although there is a solid chance he is left on the bench to begin to be cautious.

Could return after break Coleman (calf) is out for Saturday's match against Newcastle but is eyeing a return following the international break, according to manager Sean Dyche. "Coleman is a bit longer as...
Impact Coleman still needs more time, as he will miss a fourth match in a row. However, on the bright side, a return is on the horizon, possibly seeing time following the international break. The club will hope for this to be the case after his extended absence, as he did start and play the full 90 in the one match he has been available for, likely to continue in that role once fit.

Won't be an option to face Foxes Coleman (calf) is out for Saturday's match against Leicester City, according to manager Sean Dyche. "Seamus is still injured and, unfortunately, is going to be longer than we hoped...
Impact Coleman is being held out once again, with his recovery taking more time than was initially expected. This adds to the long list of injuries in the defense, forcing yet another change, with Ashley Young taking his spot again. He has only appeared in one match this season due to injury and will hope to kick the issues soon, although the club is still without a timetable for his return.
SEPTEMBER 19, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Touch-and-go to face Villa Coleman (calf) is questionable for Saturday's match against Aston Villa, according to manager Sean Dyche. "Seamus is touch-and-go for the weekend, unfortunately, but we'll see how...
Impact Coleman will be a late call heading into the weekend, likely facing a late fitness test to determine his status. He did start in the one match he has been available for this season, so the club will look to have him fit. That said, if healthy, the defender could see a starting spot but is more likely to serve off the bench, with Ashley Young being his likely replacement if left out altogether.
SEPTEMBER 12, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to England Coleman (calf) has returned to England to work on his recovery following the injury he sustained while serving with the Irish national tram, according to his national team.
Impact Coleman still has yet to receive a further analysis of the issues he picked up. However, that looks likely to change soon after it was reported he is returning to Everton to start his rehabilitation process. They will hope for the best, as many believe it is a relapse of his previous calf issue, which could leave the defender out for some time. He did earn the start for the Toffees in their last match, so this will be something to monitor as he is probable to see regular time when fit.
SEPTEMBER 9, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Forced off Coleman was forced off with an apparent injury during Saturday's loss to England.
Impact Coleman got the start for his country and was forced off before the hour mark. This comes about a week after he returned from a calf issue, if it's the same problem this could be a significant setback for the right-back.
SEPTEMBER 7, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Plays hour Coleman played 67 minutes during Tuesday's clash with Doncaster in the EFL Cup.
Impact Coleman returned from a calf injury and played an hour in the cup, before Ashley young came on to replace him. The full-back was moving well throughout his time on the pitch and looked to be over the issue. It's unclear if Coleman will be ready for a starting role, but he should be an option moving forward in the Premier League.

Nearing return Coleman (calf) is nearing a return but will still miss Saturday's match against Tottenham, according to manager Sean Dyche. "A few of the lads are getting a bit closer, Sheamus is...
Impact Coleman is continuing to work his way back from calf issues he picked up in a pre-season friendly, as he will miss the second match in a row to start the campaign. However, he is nearing a return to play, likely coming within the next two games. This is great news, as he is likely to take over the starting role at right-back once fit.

Out for opener Coleman (undisclosed) will not be an option for Saturday's home opener against Brighton, confirmed manager Sean Dyche.
Impact Coleman had picked up an injury during the later preseason matches, which will keep him out of the opener against Brighton. He continues to struggle to keep healthy, having missed most of last season with injuries as well. The defender will be reassessed after the weekend, leaving him questionable for Aug 24 trip to Tottenham.

Impact Coleman was forced off the pitch Saturday, leaving concerns around the player's availability for their season opener. He spent much of last year on the injury list but still is considered a regular starter moving into the new season, so this is something to monitor. Everton captain Seamus Coleman signs a one-year contract extension

Everton captain Seamus Coleman has signed a one-year contract extension to stay at the Merseyside club for what is expected to be the team’s final season at Goodison Park
JUNE 14, 2024 • Associated Press
Officially signs for another year Coleman has officially agreed to a one year contract extension with Everton through the 2024/25 season.
Impact Coleman will remain with the club after spending the last 14 years with Everton. Due to a groin and knee injury, the defender was only able to make seven starts in 12 PL appearances this past season. However, when fit he is a regular starter as he typically averages about two crosses per game.

Offered one-year contract Coleman was given a one-year contract offer by Everton on Friday.
Impact Coleman has made 421 appearances for the Toffees across all competitions since joining the club from Sligo Rovers back in January 2009. Injuries limited the veteran defender to a mere 11 outings (six starts) this season in which he generated 20 clearances, 17 tackles and six interceptions. If Coleman decides to sign his new deal, he figures to remain the club captain but will otherwise likely serve in a reserve role.

Makes bench Friday Coleman (groin) is on the bench for Friday's game against Luton Town.
Impact Coleman has struggled with injuries all season long and has been limited to just nine Premier League appearances this term. His return boosts the team's defensive depth, but he's not expected to make a major impact from a fantasy perspective.
MAY 3, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Likely for late fitness test Friday Coleman (groin) could be an option for Friday's match against Luton Town after returning to training Wednesday, according to manager Sean Dyche. "Again it's his first day but he's...
Impact Coleman could be set for a return after missing the club's last couple of matches, as he was back on the field training Wednesday for the first time since picking up his issues. However, he is still not completely set for a return, most likely facing a fitness test ahead of the contest to decide his availability. The club will hope for his return after an injury-filled season from the defender, probably returning to the bench once fit for action, having started in five of his minimal nine appearances this campaign.
MAY 1, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out to face Liverpool Coleman (groin) is not an option for Wednesday's match against Liverpool, according to manager Sean Dyche.
Impact Coleman will remain sidelined a further match, as he has yet to recover from the groin issues he picked up last week and is now missing his second match due to the complications. However, he has started to train on grass, leaving him in a decent spot to possibly return to team training this week. If that is the case, he could see a return against Brentford on Saturday, although a return against Luton Town on May 3 would make more sense.
APRIL 23, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out as expected Coleman (groin) is not in the squad to face Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Impact Coleman is out as expected after leaving Monday's match against Chelsea at halftime with a groin injury. Ashley Young drops back to play right back with Jack Harrison entering the starting XI in right midfield.
APRIL 21, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Heavy doubt Coleman (groin) is a doubt for Sunday's clash with Nottingham Forest, according to manager Sean Dyche. "[Coleman is] touch-and-go, at best."
Impact Coleman would normally be replaced by Nathan Patterson, but a hamstring injury has likely ended his season, potentially forcing Coleman back sooner rather than later. If Coleman can't go Sunday it would likely be Ben Godfrey who gets the start for Sunday's match.
APRIL 19, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Picks up groin issue Coleman appears to have picked up a groin injury, as manager Sean Dyche told reporters, "Seamus has pulled his groin, we don't know yet."
Impact Coleman was forced off at halftime of Monday's tilt with Chelsea, with it appearing to be tactical to begin with, but it is now known that he pulled his groin. The club is still not sure when he should be expected to return, but the defender will hope it's not long, looking for a return this week, as he does have the whole week to recover until Sunday's game with Nottingham. He was replaced by Nathan Patterson Monday, although he also got injured against Chelsea, so expect Ben Godfrey to get the start at right-back of Coleman misses time.

Impact Coleman was forced to miss last match with an illness, but is working to return to match fitness and could be in contention for Saturday. Ben Godfrey has been taking his spot at right back and could see a start against Brighton if Vitaliy Mykolenko (strain) is indeed ruled out.

Impact Coleman was reportedly in line to get the start before failing under the weather. Instead, Ben Godfrey made his fourth consecutive start at right-back while Ashley Young featured further up the pitch. If the veteran Coleman can get back to 100 percent, he could be in contention to feature versus Brighton on Saturday.
